CHIMERA ASSEMBLY AND FIRST RIDE INSTRUCTIONS

Your bike has finally arrived! Here's what you need to know about assembly, brakes, our Chimera app, and the battery.

Assembly - Follow the instructions in the video below. Feel free to send any assembly questions to info@chimeracycles.com

Brakes - Your brakes will have almost no stopping power until they are bedded-in, so remember to wear a helmet and bed-in the brakes before blasting off at full speed! Here's a great bedding-in video.

App - To control the bike's functions, you'll need to download our app. Here are the links

For IOS, you'll have to go through the testflight app to get access. Here's a tutorial video about the app.

Battery - We've taken great pains to make our battery very safe - we're actually one of only a few companies that fully thermally pots our batteries, and uses only the highest quality cells (Molicel or Samsung). Still, lithium ion batteries are dangerous if they ignite. So never leave lithium ion batteries charging unattended. Do not charge near high heat such as furnaces or direct sunlight. Do not charge if doing so causes excess heat, sparks, smoke, or any other signs of danger.
